Scottish Technical Handbooks - Section 5
Section 5 covers Resisting Sound Transmission to Dwellings, and although specific acoustic performance requirements for door assemblies are not given, reference is made to the requirement for a fire rated door between a dwelling and other parts of the building, to meet the requirements of Section 2.
The Lorient solutions given throughout this website will provide suitable solutions to meet these requirements, and will give the benefit of acoustic containment too, without adding additional seals to be fitted.
