Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - Elf Express

The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (KWVR) is a preserved standard gauge line with a rich history dating back from 1867. Since 1968 the station has been conserved by a team of volunteers in the KWVR Preservation Society. Today KWVR offers scheduled steam train journeys and hosts special family-orientated events such as the 'Elf Express'; transporting passengers on a magical journey from Oxenhope to "Kringle Town".

This year KWVR have used the trains compartment stock for the Elf Express; to comply with the latest government guidance and to maintain social distancing between passenger bubbles. The carriages have been divided into private Covid-19 secure compartments, using Lorient's SYSTEM-36 PLUS glazing seals for fire protection around full height timber partitions secured to the original carriage roof.

Lorient is delighted to be part of KWVR's Elf Express; a special train that brings festive cheer to its passengers and volunteers.
